Sinopsis :

Cerita diawali dari hari pertama Satsuki dan Keichirou masuk sekolah. Bersama dengan Hajime, Leo, dan Momoko mereka mengunjungi gedung sekolah lama. Dan akibat ulah mereka, semua hantu yang dulu pernah ditidurkan oleh ibunya Satsuki terlepas. Namun Satsuki menemukan buku tatacara menidurkan hantu peninggalan ibunya. Dengan begini, Satsuki mengemban tugas untuk menidurkan kembali semua hantu yang telah terbangun. Hantu-hantu tersebut berkeliaran bukan hanya di sekolah, melainkan juga di lingkungan mereka. Hantu yang mereka hadapi pertama kali adalah iblis bernama Amanojaku. Namun dalam proses penyegelan, Amanojaku tidak tersegel pada tempatnya, yaitu pohon besar yang ada di belakang sekolah karena pohon tersebut telah ditebang. Akhirnya, Amanojaku tersegel di dalam tubuh Kaya, kucing milik Satsuki dan Keiichirou. Semenjak itu, perjalanan menidurkan semua hantu yang terlepas dimulai. Amanojaku pada awalnya sama sekali tidak mau menolong Satsuki. Namun akhirnya ia menolong meski hanya memberi petunjuk.

Sepanjang cerita, mereka selalu dibuat tegang karena risiko yang dihadapi ketika melawan hantu-hantu tersebut. Dan akhir ceritanya cukup mengharukan.
